Scout and I are starting training tonight. First Daddy and I go tonight, and next week Scout gets to come with us. We got new calves, and they got out when we got home and one ran really far. The next day the neighbor caught him for us.
We are all done with school and are going on a trip to Texas for a conference. I am going to do a report on the Alamo ( Daddy said he is going to do a report on the beach) . We also are going to Corpus Christi and a hotel where Theodore Roosevelt recruted his ruff riders.

Scout got to go to an Easter egg hunt. We won a lot of passes to Leashes and Leads dog park and some treats. He got another round of  shots. He is growing and getting to go on jogs. I'm trying to chicken train him but he still thinks they are little friends.

This is also after a walk. Scout was too thirsty to wait for a full bucket.

Olivia likes to play with Scout. We play tugawar and catch/throw.(throw is where we throw the ball and Scout goes and brings it about ten feet)

After a walk down the road Scout got tired and
he and I played with a ball.

We try to take Scout on a walk every day. Sometimes Olivia walks with Scout and I ride my bike with Clara

Scout Meeting Friends

Apple and Scout are pretty good friends. Apple is not very playful, but Scout thinks she is.
Scout met Sausage, our cat, the other day, it was really funny. Scout chased him up the tree house and when Sausage (the cat) came down Scout chased him around.

Scout knows how to sit. Now we are teaching him to lay and play monkey in the middle. It's a game where he is in the middle and the people on the out side call him and when he comes we give him a treat.

training

Monday, March 19
I started training Scout to sit. But it didn't really work, so we went in to town to get some treats. Now I am teaching Scout to sit and lay. It is working.
I linked the kennel where his grandpa is from. His name is Anchi. He is from Sablerock Kennels.

day one

Saturday, March 17

Mommy, Clara and I wanted a german shepherd because Olivia and daddy were going on a trip so it would give us something to play with. So mommy started looking. She found a colly /german shepherd mix so we went and looked at it. It wasn't what we thought so we went home. Mommy, daddy and I decided to keep looking. In a little while Mommy found a pure bread german shepherd. We all got in the car. When we got there we thought he was super cute. We brought him home, and I got to sleep with him.

I named him Scout because I read a book about a german shepherd named Scout. I've always wanted one!
